The latest numbers from Immigration and Customs Enforcement show that the agency’s arrests continued apace in July, breaching the 4,000 mark since President Trump’s inauguration.

By July 28, ICE made 4,179 arrests in Virginia. That total exceeds arrests tracked by the state task force created by Gov. Glenn Youngkin and federal law enforcement partners in March. Through Aug. 8, the task force said they’d made 3,564 arrests.
