Mark Meier, a juror on last month’s Amari Pollard murder trial, told the Richmond Times-Dispatch that he likely would have found Pollard not guilty on the charge of first-degree murder in the June 6 shooting death of Shawn Jackson outside the Altria Theater in Richmond.

Meier, of Richmond, was not convinced the shooting, which took place after Huguenot High School’s graduation ceremony, had been premeditated, he said last week. He also had reservations about the location of some of the bullets in Jackson’s body and questions about the other firearm recovered at the scene.
