The parent company of Kings Dominion, Cedar Fair LP, is merging with Six Flags Entertainment Corp. in an all-stock deal valued at $2 billion, the two sides announced Thursday.
The new company, which will keep the Six Flags name, will have 27 amusement parks, 15 water parks and nine resort properties across 17 states, Canada and Mexico.
