The nurse accused of abusing five babies at the neonatal intensive care unit of Henrico Doctors’ Hospital will remain free on bond, a judge ruled Wednesday.
Erin Strotman, 26, a former nurse at the hospital, faces 12 felony counts of child abuse and malicious wounding. On Wednesday, she was arraigned on six new charges, and Henrico County prosecutors objected to the fact that Strotman is not in jail.
