Petersburg is back in the game for a casino.
More than two months after Richmond voters resoundingly rejected a proposal to build a casino there, Petersburg is trying again to replace the state capital as one of five Virginia cities that would be allowed to host a casino resort under a 2020 state law that legalized casino gaming.
