UPDATE (2:35pm): Shortly after 1pm today 20 year-old Kaleb Robinson of Tappahannock was captured by Town of Tappahannock Officers and Essex County Sheriff’s Deputies without incident. The arrest took place at Sheetz.

Robinson was transported back to Richmond County and is being held questioned at the Northern Neck Regional Jail in Warsaw.

Robinson is charged with 1st Degree Murder in the death of 21 year-old Kearrah Tanaja Chappell of Westmoreland County.

 

UPDATE (11:25am): Earlier today Westmoreland County authorities were looking for a missing 21 year-old female, who was last seen around 9pm on Monday, April 1st..

Since then authorities in Richmond County have found the body of Kearrah Tanaja Chappell in the Whelford’s Wharf Road area of Richmond County.

Richmond County Sheriff Steve Smith is treating this as a homicide and 20 year-old Kaleb Xavier Robinson of Tappahannock is being sought for first degree murder. He is considered armed and dangerous. Robinson has ties to Essex, Richmond and Westmoreland Counties.

Original Story: From the Westmoreland County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, investigators are looking for a 21 year-old female. She is Kearrah Tanaja Chappell. She was last seen on Monday, April 1st at her home in Glebe Harbor in Westmoreland County. She has black and red hair.

Also being sought for Questioning is 20 year-old Kaleb Xavier Robinson, of Tappahannock. Kaleb is being sought for questioning related to the disappearance of Kearrah Tanaja Chappell of Glebe Harbor.
