The Lancashire Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Kilmarnock recently underwent a renovation to open the Rappahannock Memory Care Unit.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony is schedule for 11am on Wednesday, February 5th.
The new secured unit has private and semi-private rooms for 25 individuals with cognitive impairments such as dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
The Lancashire is one of seven nursing and rehabilitation centers owned and operated by Virginia Health Services.
