FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Route 33 was closed in both directions in the Saluda area of Middlesex County for a multi-vehicle crash near the Courthouse Drive intersection Monday evening.
Route 17 Business (General Puller Highway/Gloucester Road) traffic was turned around and detoured back to Route 17 at the Oakes Landing Road intersection. Westbound Route 33 traffic approaching the crash scene was turned around and detoured to use Urbanna Road in the Town of Urbanna.
No congestion was reported. Route 33 was opened 3 hours later.
