Taylor Berry from Christchurch School and now playing at Youngstown State, was named to the Horizon League All-Freshman Team after a vote of the league’s head coaches. Berry tallied 22 shots and scored two goals with an assist for five points this season. She scored a game-tying goal against Oakland on Sept. 15 and sealed a 2-0 victory with a goal against IUPUI on Oct. 22. She is the third YSU player in the last four seasons to be named to the All-Freshman Team.
