With Election Day nearing, political ad spending on Virginia’s media platforms has surged, with former President Donald Trump’s campaign pouring in $495,000 between the weeks of Oct. 14 and Nov. 4.
That brings Trump’s ad spending in Virginia to $515,000, eclipsing the $375,234 that Vice President Kamala Harris has spent or booked in Virginia to date.
The Trump and Harris campaigns ran more than 95% of their ads in the Hampton Roads market, which bleeds into some of the market in North Carolina, a key swing state.
