President Donald Trump is encouraging Virginians to back Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears for governor.

While he improved on his 2020 margin last fall, Trump lost Virginia in all three of his presidential campaigns — by 5.7 percentage points in 2024, 10.1 percentage points in 2020 and 5.3 percentage points in 2016.
