The Virginia House of Delegates passed a first-of-its-kind bill in the state to limit children’s social media usage to one hour per day per app, unless otherwise approved by their parents.
The bill passed the Senate earlier this month and will now go to Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s desk. If the governor signs it, the law would go into effect on Jan. 1, 2026.
