VCU Health Tappahannock Hospital is conducting a Community Health Needs Assessment survey and is seeking input from members of the community. This survey, conducted every three years, helps the hospital and its community partners identify and address health needs in the community.

VCU Health is seeking input from residents throughout Tappahannock and the Northern Neck. The anonymous survey can be accessed through this link:  https://bit.ly/3UCsBhS.

“For anyone in our community who is concerned about issues ranging from mental health services to senior care and safety issues to healthy food access, we want to hear from you,” explains Liz Martin, President of VCU Health Tappahannock Hospital. “Our goal is to collect information that will help make this a better community for everyone and it starts by getting this feedback directly from members of our community.”

The survey is organized into three parts:

  • Community Health Concerns, where we ask about health-related concerns in neighborhoods or communities.
  • Additional Insights and Ideas, where we ask about people who need help in neighborhoods or communities, and ideas for addressing community needs.
  • Background Information, the survey is anonymous, but we ask a few questions about respondents so we can understand who has taken the survey.

“We want to address the issues that are important to our residents, which is why we highly encourage everyone to be engaged,” adds Martin.
