Virginia Commonwealth University students marched through downtown Richmond on Saturday afternoon in protest of Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s request to review racial literacy syllabi materials from VCU.
Students and professors said the Youngkin administration does not want the course to be taught because it wants to limit Black history education in public schools.
