The Virginia Lottery on Monday announced record revenues and record payouts to players for the last fiscal year but a slightly lower profit of $901 million, all of which goes toward Virginia’s K-12 public schools.
Of the $5.7 billion in lottery sales for fiscal year 2025, which ended June 30, a record $4.5 billion went back to players as prizes.
