Virginia’s State Board of Health has voted to write a new regulation banning transgender women from competing on women’s sports teams.
On Monday, the 15-member board voted unanimously to accept a petition from three female athletes asking the board to craft a new regulation to “prevent biological males from female-only athletics and certain female-designated spaces.”
