Virginia State Police report that a 35 year-old Urbanna man lost his life in a two-vehicle crash in King and Queen County, just before midnight on Friday, September 13th.
According to police, a 2006 Nissan Maxima driven by Craig Adam Jowers was traveling the wrong way on Rt. 33, Lewis Puller Memorial Highway when it struck head on, a 2005 Nissan Armada, driven by 38 year old Michael Scott Walker of Gloucester,.
Police say that Jowers succumbed to injuries at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
Walker was transported to the hospital for treatment of serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. He was wearing a seatbelt. Officials say that the crash remains under investigation.
