Westmoreland County Sheriff C. O. Balderson reports of 3 Arrested On Multiple Drug Indictments on Thursday, October 19, 2023.
The three individuals were arrested on sixteen drug indictments. Detectives with the Westmoreland County Sheriff’s Office conducted the undercover narcotics investigation in conjunction with the Tri-County Drug Task Force. Members of the task force include sheriff’s offices from Caroline, King George and Westmoreland, the Naval
Criminal Investigative Services and Virginia State Police. Arrests were made without incident.
Those arrested to include charges are:
- 28 year-old Jeremy L. Blackwell, of Hague, three counts of distribution of a schedule III controlled substance (Suboxone) and two counts of conspiring to distribute. $4,000 unsecured bond
- 40 year-old Jason J. Marders, of the Town of Colonial Beach, three counts of distribution of a schedule I or II controlled substance (Cocaine & N-dimethylpentylone). No bond
- 27 year-old Taylor N. Packett, of Hague with two counts of distribution of a schedule III controlled substance (Suboxone), two counts of conspiring to distribute and two counts of child neglect. $2,500 unsecured bond
First court appearances have been scheduled. Investigation continues.
