Gov. Glenn Youngkin said on social media Wednesday night that state Sen. John McGuire defeated Rep. Bob Good, R-5th, in the bitter June 18 GOP primary.
“Yesterday, the final results of the VA05 primary were sent to the Board of Elections. Senator John McGuire is ahead by 375 votes and I congratulate him on his win,” Youngkin said in a post on X, formerly Twitter.
