Charity Golf Tournament Raises over $150k

The 14^th Annual Special Operations Warrior Foundation Chesapeake Bay Charity Golf Event was held at the Golden Eagle Golf Club in Irvington on Wednesday (yesterday).

One of the highlights of the event was a hole-in-one on the 14^th hole by Billy Hudson of Kilmarnock.

The 30 plus teams dealt with misty inclement weather but no rainfall.

Money raised for the tournament was $168,740 with an additional $100,000 as a matching donation.

Making the total of $268,740 for this year.
