There were broad smiles and solemn moments as 94 new Americans recited in unison the words of the oath that made them citizens:

“That I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States … and that I will take this obligation freely …”

The new citizens took the oath at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture on Constitution Day, the 238th anniversary of the Constitution.
