There’ll be a new two-year state budget in time for the July 1 start of the next fiscal year, and it will look a lot like what’s in the stalled and conflicting House of Delegates and state Senate budgets, Gov. Abigail Spanberger said Monday.
She didn’t share specifics while talking to reporters after the ribbon-cutting for the new state Central Laboratory in Mechanicsville. But asked whether she would be presenting her own budget or House Bill 30, now stalled between the House and the Senate, she made clear that she’s involved in finding a path forward.
