The bus driver in the deadly May 29 crash in Stafford County that killed five people has been released from the hospital and will have his first court appearance Wednesday.
Jing Sheng Dong, 48, of Staten Island, New York, has been released from the hospital and is now in the Rappahannock Regional Jail. He is charged with five counts of involuntary manslaughter and reckless driving stemming from the crash on southbound Interstate 95 in which a bus driven by Dong crashed into several vehicles in a work zone, killing five and injuring dozens of others.
