The Northern Neck is getting ready to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution.  The NNK250 Coalition will officially launch commemoration efforts this month with the first program in what will be four years of planned events that will include speakers, podcasts and a variety of other special offerings.  The NNK250 Signature Speaker Series will open Feb 11 at 2pm when the University of Mary Washington Dahlgren Campus will host Dr. Barbara Heath, professor of Anthropology at the University of Tennessee Knoxville.  This event is free.  More information is available at nnk250.us.
