Objects, Art, and More and the Writers Guild of Virginia are pleased to announce best-selling, local author, Gwen Keane, will be signing her books on Saturday, November 30th from noon until 4:00 p.m. at Objects Gallery in Irvington.
Keane, a Lancaster County native, is an ardent supporter and board member of the Northern Neck Partners’ for Pets, and organization dedicated to providing no-kill shelters. Her love of animals is reflected in much of her writing. Swan’s Wait is the story of an unusual relationship that developed between the author’s family and a group of mute Swans.
Keane is also authored Local Color, a humorous and thoughtful memoir about growing up in the Northern Neck in the 1950s. Fix It, is a moving and person account of the struggles of being a care giver to a spouse.
This is an opportunity to chat with a local author and buy an autographed copy of her books while having a glass of wine. It is a perfect place to begin your Christmas shopping.
