Kings Dominion’s parent company, Cedar Fair L.P., has completed its merger with Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, creating the largest amusement park operator in North America. The agreement, first announced in November, was finalized Monday.
Kings Dominion’s name will not change. Each park in the company will retain its branding, and no name changes are planned, the company said. No major changes are expected within the park in 2024, said Geoff Zindren, a spokesperson for Kings Dominion. The 2024 season pass and all loyalty programs remain the same.
