Police said a second arrest has been made in the shooting of a Virginia State University campus police officer.
Officer Bruce Foster, 39, was shot early Sunday while responding to a disturbance. The shooting sent the campus into lockdown as a search was conducted.
Chesterfield County police said Reginald L. King Jr., 21, of Petersburg was arrested Thursday and charged with assault on a law enforcement officer and obstruction of justice in relation to the incident.
