Irvington, Virginia Three names were drawn on November 2, 2023, for NWP’s “Light Your Fire” drawing. The winners are… Ed Pittman, Kilmarnock – $1,000; Tom Davis, Heathsville – $500; and Betty Crandall, Kilmarnock – $250. The NWP gift certificates are redeemable for any NWP Showroom product, service, or installation fee.

Grand prize winner Ed Pittman and his wife Joyce recently moved into a new home in Kilmarnock and are excited about using their winnings to replace non-vented gas logs in their home.

I submitted one entry on the very last eligible day for the “Light Your Fire” drawing,” says Pittman, grinning. “I have some friends who entered more frequently. I don’t think they’ll be so happy about me winning the grand prize.”

The month-long October event was a promotion to celebrate the opening of the NWP Showroom at 3531 Irvington Road, Irvington. NWP’s coastal blue cement block building houses a gallery of fireplace inserts and gas log sets.

Local radio personality Tom Davis won the $500 second prize. “My wife Lori and I are renovating a home and plan to use my NWP gift certificate towards a fireplace insert,” says Davis. When asked how he learned about the “Light Your Fire” drawing, Davis replied, “radio, of course.”

The $250-level winner is Betty Crandall. She and her husband have already picked out their new insert. “We’re upgrading a few things around our home. The timing is perfect,” says Crandall.

The NWP Showroom is managed by Alissa Nashwinter and is open 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. “I’m happy to answer any questions about our products and services. Often customers aren’t sure what they need or want,” says Nashwinter. “There are so many options, and we want to be sure our customers choose the best fit for them and their homes.”
