Thursday, Aug. 17th….An Arrest has been made following the Wednesday afternoon road-rage incident on Route 360 in Warsaw. Authorities report that James Anthony Benjamin Barnes and a passenger of the vehicle involved in the incident are in custory at this time after a pursuit with Law Enforcement in South Carolina.
There was one individual…an adult female who was shot and died. Her identity has not been released. The incident occurred around 3pm Wednesday afternoon near the Food Lion-Hardees intersection.
The Downing Bridge was also closed causing delays for a limited time between Tappahannock and Richmond County.

Wed., Aug. 16th… Richmond County Sheriff Steve Smith reports one person has died in connection with a road rage incident that occurred around 3 o’clock Wednesday afternoon. The incident happened on Route 360 near the Food Lion-Hardees intersection in Warsaw.
Sheriff Smith said that identification of the victim has not been released and that no arrest have been made at this time. Sheriff Smith said that the drive-by shooting involved two-vehicles traveling west.
