Officials say that two men suffered non-life-threatening injuries in an altercation in Tappahannock early Saturday morning.  Tappahannock Police report that the shooting took place at the WaWa Convenience Store on Tappahannock Boulevard.  According to police, several people were involved, including the shooter who has yet to be identified. The two men who were injured were identified as 32 year-old Tremaine Roy of Portsmouth and 34 year-old Christopher Russell of Tappahannock.

According to Tappahannock Police Captain Jacob Siddons, an arrest warrant is pending,  and the case remains under investigation.

No motive or connection is known between Roy and Russell.
