June 28 is the last Friday in June, and TAG has an invitation for you.
“Our summer juried show is focused on photography this year,” explains TAG’s Executive Director, Paige Conner Totaro. “Residents of the Commonwealth of Virginia, aged 18 and older, submitted over 50 photographs that reveal a place, person, or emotion that speaks to the theme of ‘Our Places and People.’”
Show judge, John McDonnell, retired Washington Post photographer, made his final selection of 20 images. On Friday, June 28th at 5:30pm, TAG will welcome guests and visitors to the Opening Reception of the exhibit. Please make plans to join us to celebrate this exquisite collection of images curated from all across Virginia. Sip some wine provided by ACT XII Wine and Provisions, and snack on charcuterie from 1710 Tavern.
Don’t forget about *Date Night in Tappahannock”, happening before and after the reception. . Grab your sweetheart, your BFF, or fly solo . The fun starts at ACT XII’s wine tasting at 4:30. Meander down Prince Street to TAG for the Opening Reception from 5:30 to 7:00. Then bop across Water Lane to 1710 Tavern for signature cocktails, tavern fare or fine dining.
