The Town of Warsaw is pleased to announce the addition of Egg-Spresso, a 7-day a week breakfast and lunch restaurant located at 149 Main Street. The restaurant is owned and operated by the Owens family, the same owners and operators of Java Jacks in neighboring Tappahannock. The restaurant serves a variety of breakfast and lunch options and is slated to employee up to 24 full and part-time positions.

Mayor Randall L. Phelps stated that “…the public has been asking for a sit-down breakfast and lunch restaurant in our Town for a very long time. We’re pleased to have made the pieces align and to offer this to our residents. We welcome Jeans and her family to our beautiful and growing Town.”

Town Manager, Joseph Quesenberry, explained that his project has been in the works for quite some time. “After nearly 7 years of approaching Mrs. Owens in Java Jacks and asking her to open a location in Warsaw, we were pleased to work out a deal where we can welcome her and Egg-Spresso to our Town. This addition adds to our already strong lineup and variety of local food establishments.” he said.

Egg-Spresso held their official ribbon cutting on Friday, November 17th, with representatives from the restaurant, the Town of Warsaw, Richmond County, The Warsaw-Richmond County Main Street Program, the Warsaw-Richmond County Chamber of Commerce, C&F Bank, and Willow Stitch present for the occasion.
