Health officials are investigating another measles exposure in central Virginia after a person linked to the ongoing Buckingham County outbreak visited a hospital in Henrico County.

The Virginia Department of Health said the individual was at Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital between May 20 and noon on May 24. State health officials are working to identify and notify people who may have been exposed during that time.

The newly announced exposure comes as Virginia’s measles case count has climbed to 64 this year.
