Gov. Glenn Youngkin on Thursday announced actions meant to help boost the state’s supply of workforce housing.
Youngkin said an initiative at Virginia Housing will invest $75 million over five years “with the potential to catalyze $750 million and build 5,000 units of workforce housing” tied to economic development projects in the state.
The announcement came at the Governor’s Housing Conference in Virginia Beach.
