RICHMOND – Police1.com, an online resource platform used by law enforcement professionals across the country, has named Virginia State Police’s new recruitment video one of the top 10 recruitment videos of 2024. The site is currently hosting voting online to choose the top video of the year. Voting can be done at Police1 unveils the top police recruitment videos of 2024. The Virginia State Police’s video can be seen at Virginia State Police – Troopers Rise Above, and Virginia State Police is asking Virginians to go to the link and vote to support your Virginia State Troopers.
“We are pleased that Police1 has recognized that our video ‘rises above’ to attract the best quality candidates out there by showcasing the professionalism of and opportunities offered by the Virginia State Police,” said Lt. Col. Matt Hanley, Interim Superintendent of Virginia State Police. “When people see that video we want them to know that the Virginia State Police is a premier law enforcement agency and a great place to work.”
The video is part of a recruitment effort that was unveiled in September of this year. The campaign included the launching of a state-of-the-art new website, vatrooper.com, that includes stylized colors, high-definition graphics, and engaging videos that capture the exceptional work done by state troopers. The project also maximizes video and social media and marketing tactics with the ultimate goal of increasing the number of people that engage in the hiring process and go on to become Virginia State Troopers.
Voting on the video is open through Dec. 28, 2024.
