Authorities have identified the body discovered at the scene of a vehicle fire at the University of Virginia’s Fontaine Research Park on Sunday morning.
Chandler Lee Goins, a 19-year-old resident of Barhamsville in New Kent County, was found dead in a burning pickup in a parking lot on the Fontaine campus.
In a statement on Monday, UVa police said: “Upon preliminary review of this incident, no obvious evidence of foul play or criminal conduct was found. This case is still under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact The University of Virginia Police Department.”
