Virginia Congressman Bob Good, R-5th, has become the new chairman of the House Freedom Caucus, a little more than two months after voting to oust a Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives for the first time in history.

The caucus, comprised 42 of the House’s most conservative members, elected the Virginia congressman as chairman for a two-year term on Monday night after its governing board nominated him on Thursday.
