The Tappahannock Police Department reports that it has charged two men in connection with recent burglaries within the town. Officials say that 33 year-old Jose Rivas of St. Stephens Church and 32 year-old Patrick Banker of Tappahannock have been each charged with multiple felonies related to the February 1, 2023, burglary of the Raceway on Tappahannock Boulevard and the March 11, 2023, burglary at the Tender Loving Care Daycare on Sycamore Drive.
Captain J.H. Siddons of the Tappahannock Police Department said that these two individuals are suspected of committing multiple crimes over a wide area.
Both suspects are currently being held at the Middle Peninsula Regional Security Center awaiting a court appearance in the Essex County Circuit Court.”
The Tappahannock police department credits the King & Queen, Essex, King William, Northumberland and Hanover Sheriff’s Offices with assistance in this investigation.
