WRAR will leave the air later this morning while crews upgrade our tower lighting system. As well as being much more energy efficient and requiring less maintenance, the new lighting system will be more friendly to migrating birds. This interruption of our broadcast is required to assure the safety of the workers while they are on the tower.  Once the workers are back on the ground, we will resume broadcasting.

We expect that the installation will be completed by sunset today.  However, it is possible that they may have to finish the project tomorrow morning. This would require us to leave the air again while they are on the tower.

During the time our transmitter is off the air, our live stream will continue at www.realradio804.com. Just click on the 105.5 WRAR Listen Live link.  We apologize for this interruption of our service

Again, 105.5 WRAR will leave the air later this morning while crews are working on our tower.  We apologize for this interruption of our service to our community.
