A fresh look at Virginia’s tax collections suggests state revenue is growing enough to close the gap between House of Delegates and state Senate budgets.
The House and Senate have been at an impasse over the state’s spending plan for the next two years, and especially over the Senate’s proposal to close a $1 billion difference by ending the sales tax exemption for data centers.
